trippin' - Pontianak, Indonesia

yo~! my trip to Pontianak last weekend was awesome.
at first i had a bad feeling coming east-south or west-south of the world.ceyyyyyyy!
and it was my first time at changing time zone (by one hour) and currency.so im a bit jakon about it.

and it is a big whoop!

QUESTION, "hows Pontianak?"

ANSWER=crowded.

BUT

the weather was hot!

the food was great!

the people (DUDES ESP) were scary i tell you.

the crowd were tolerance.

lots of motorcyclist.

big shopping malls.(before "the spring" and "boulevard", kuching is nothing compare to pontianak)

some of them (about 50% ppl of pontianak) took bath/wash their clothes from/in the drain.the drain were 3metres height.toxic free! aek cdak macam aek teh.

they drink "aek ujan".again.toxic free.

saw lots of entrepreneur-ship goin' on around the city (the pontianakians were freakin' creative i tell u)

some part of the city is quite smelly.

mum's shopping heaven.

i had 2 bowls of bakso.yummy.

Banjir 'O' Banjir

my nek yah's house-next door: 11/1/09-sunday 5.30pm

so, as most of you have already know, Kuching kenak banjir for 2 days in a row.
ALHAMDULILLAH, im very lucky for that my house was not affected.

I guess it is time like this, we can see most of the villagers (yes people, i live in a village) were out and together they all share their pain and suffer. but from what i saw, there were less pain but joy instead.
the joy of playing in the rain and dirty water from the flood make them all share the laugh and smile together. i like that feeling.

yes, gerrard got arrested last weekend after the Liverpool won against new castle (5-1!!!).
that son of a gun decided to parteyyyyyyy with the boys after the game and got arrested for assault instead~
but he's fine now, really.at least.for now.
