saturday night at jollly kitchen

went to the new restaurant that's open in hock lee shopping complex called the "jolly kitchen".. gotta tell ya, im a little scared of the design and the whole layout plan..

the food...blueeekkkk..i ordered spaghetti carbonara/carbanara..it taste like shyt!!!! my cousin jarut ordered something simple but it was nice...fish and chips...


this is the exterior part... it attracted me at first..but once i step my foot on the inside of the restaurant.....
what? wrapping paper? no..its a present paper!!! wait! aren't they the same thing?

and i can see the fire alarm!!!!!!!!!

oh ya..then i asked one of the worker.."what kind of service are you having here? table service? self-service? ala-carte?....kinda confused really...because of the signs and all that.."malay fast food", "western corner", "chef's recommendations",

she replied.."duduk saja lah, nanti saya ambik order"

what happen to the design on the exterior? and now look at the interior...

at the corner there, is actually a sitting area where the patrons should take off their shoes and eat like the japanese..but some idiot customer just dont get the whloe pictures straight so they eat with their shoes on...

bersilak makan bah..makei kasut...bodo sik? jangan nganok nya bodo, nya si tauk bah....

what is this? display/fast food/working area is it? it is!!!! nice paneling...NOT!

not to mention the lightings quality....

the lighting quality is so bad until ... .......................i dont wanna finish the sentences.
what is this? i dont know what to say...the whole part of the restaurant is somehow doesnt connected to each other.. it's not uniform, it doesnt even related to one area to another..and one more thing...the workers/employees is a little bit too many..the restaurant look a little crowded because of the workers..not the patrons..im quiet dissapointed really...

i know, i know

im not yet a qualified interior designer but i have to learn to observed and criticized. cause, that's what designer do..they observe, they criticize, they copy, they manipulate, they design...

oh come on.... can anyone agree with me on that?
